This 2022 Pinot Noir comes from Bench 1775 Winery's estate vineyard on the Naramata Bench. Hand-harvested, de-stemmed, and cold-soaked for 7 days, it underwent spontaneous fermentation over 18 days before pressing in a basket press. Malolactic fermentation was completed in 40% new French oak, followed by 12 months of aging.
This Pinot Noir offers a smooth texture with flavors of cherries, raspberries, earthy mushrooms, clove, and vanilla.
Enjoy with mushrooms on toast, BBQ salmon, porchetta, beet and goat cheese salad, creamy cheeses, and cured meats.
